I am Vanessa Moyano, breeder and judge of Rhodesian Ridgeback but also Industrial Engineer professionally. Dogs have been always part of the family. It is not easy to combine studies and job with dogs and competitions but when you love what you do, you can achieve anything. So that is how I have been in the breed for more than 25 years. During these years my dogs have won more than 100 titles of Championship, including European Winners and RCC at Crufts. You can find Molema Mua Rôo dogs in 3 continents (Africa, Europe and America).

My principal aim for breeding is breed improvement. I breed very few (once per year) so I really think about the parents to be for the next Molema Mua Rôo generation. I want healthy and typical Ridgebacks so it is a must that both parents are health tested against the illnesses nowadays we can control in the breed.

My foundation dogs are from top Australian and American lines, but also with the time I have introduced African and European lines to get the Rhodesian Ridgebacks I have now, dogs that excel in Elegance, Structure, Movement and Temperament.

It's very important to me to be in touch with top breeders to share with them the knowledge of the breed and in my opinion it's also important to become member of a Rhodesian Ridgeback Club, so I am member in the Club of France, the RR Club of the United States and also The RR Club of Portugal.

On 2013, March 1st, I publish the first book in Spanish about the breed. I decided to do it after being 15 years in the breed and bein constantly in touch with breed clubs, judges and breeders over the world, giving me a wide vision and knowledge about the breed. I have also written in the specialized magazine of the breed The European Ridgeback, whose authors have nicely asked my opinion about different subjects. I have also written in the spanish magazines about dogs when they had the Ridgeback as the breed of the month.
