My first show in France this year, the Nationale d'élevage. So we started the trip very early on Friday morning to avoid the traffic jams of "holidays exit operation" of August 1st.

We arrived on Saturday very early to get everything prepared in our camp, we had breakfast on the show ground and then we went for a walk, we could see also the prizes that the other national d'elevage had prepared for their events.

National d'Élevage - 81 RR attended the show under the judge Mrs Edyta Ossowska from Poland (Kennel Sangoma).

We had Phoebe and Durban inscribed in the same class so Alejandro and me had to be in the ring at the same time, so I ask Ludo to take some photos of us and wow what incredible photos. Many thanks!!!

I am really proud as there were 8 fantastic females in this class.

As the judge has written a book I carried it with me so she could sign it!!!

 

On Sunday we also arrived very early at the show ground but the club told to all the exhibitors that due to flights problems the judge was not in Chatel Guyon yet but in Lyon and the breed judgement would start after 12 hour!!!

We had to wait all those ours till the judge arrived and we were judged in the worst hours of the day, it was a really hot day and the judgement finally started at 13h till 18:30h! We finished half an hour later the BIS was done at the National Show, so the Ridgeback was not present at the Group 6 final.

On the specialty, Durban was the only one entered so Ale could take some photos of us. This time Durban was presented in Open class where there were 22 females inscribed, the biggest class of the show.

I am very happy with the results of my dogs they prove year by year the work and selection I am doing in the breed. To get these results on a Specialty or Club Show under breed specialists is always appreciated.
