Another year I have attended the French Club Show, this year was also Alejandro who wanted to attend. So very early on Friday morning we started the trip. We started so early as we thought that we were going to find some problems on the motorways due to traffic jam for the "holidays exit operation" of August 1st.

But luckily no traffic jam on our way to Chatel Guyon, so we arrived so early that I could attend the Club Assambly, which was really fun and interesting to listen, but at the same time really sad to see how the club is going because of some people who have always been driven by envy.

First stop in France, aire de Fitou.

On Saturday morning was the National d'élevage, 80 RR under the Canadian judge Mr. Stewart Dankner (Cedarpoint kennel). We arrived early so we could park inside the venue.

Nice presents for the winners

I have no camera photos as I usually do because my reflex camera just broke down at the show. So only mobile phone photos.

The results of Durban and Zuri:

Molema Mua Rôo Durban - cl. Intermediate - Very Good

Molema Mua Rôo Mahali Mzuri - cl. Champion - Excellent

I was surprised by the Very Good of Durban as the comments in the raport were really nice, so I asked the judge why the Very Good and he answered that we looked for different things, but what different things? I can understand that sometimes you miss something in the written critique but if the owner comes to know more about your opinion you have to explain it. I am judge myself and I know why I give the qualifications and of course I can explain it whenever I have been asked. Sometimes the owner can improve or not depending on the fault the judge sees and that is why is useful and the reason to ask.

Nice and friendly dinner after the show

I have to say this year has been the worst year I have ever been in in terms of atmosphere. Of course when you have competition there are rivalries between competitors but after competition everybody can have a nice chat with others and change opinions, experience... that is how we can improve ourselves and the breed. I am involved on the breed for many years and I know lot of people, situations... and I don't like the path is taking.

On Sunday there were 71 RR under the judge Mrs. Snezana Kuralt from Slovenia (Khoisan kennel)
